Summary

This site does not use accounts, and you never have to create one to use any feature. Progress data — such as practice streaks and resuming where you left off — is saved locally in your browser (localStorage) and never sent to our servers or linked to your identity. We use Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate, and Google AdSense (once our application is approved) to display ads. Both may set cookies in your browser — see Google's Privacy & Terms for details on how Google handles that data.

Information we collect

SAT Math Guide is built to work without an account, so most visitors give us no personal information at all. What we do collect:

• No account or registration is required, and none of the site's features are gated behind one.
• Aggregated, anonymized usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type) via Google Analytics.
• Advertising cookies via Google AdSense, once our site is approved for the program — see the Advertising section below.
• Progress data (streaks, resume position) is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages and tools are actually useful to students, so we can improve the site. It collects data such as approximate location, browser/device type, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and isn't used by us to identify you individually.

You can opt out site-wide using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block analytics cookies through your browser's privacy settings.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Once approved for Google AdSense, this site will display ads served by Google and its advertising partners. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and others, in order to show ads that may be more relevant to you. We don't control the content of individual ads shown through this program.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data when you request a page: your IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, and timestamp. This is used solely for security monitoring and troubleshooting. It is not sold or shared, and is retained for a maximum of 30 days.

Contact form

If you use the Contact form, you may optionally provide your email address. That email is used only to reply to your message and is not added to any mailing list.

Third-party services

Beyond Google Analytics and Google AdSense (described above), this site loads fonts from Bunny.net, a privacy-respecting font CDN — no Google Fonts are used. We also use webmaster tools including Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to monitor how our pages are crawled and indexed; these report on site performance and don't give us access to your individual browsing activity.

Children's privacy

Many visitors to this site are high school students, and some may be under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No account or personal information is ever required to use the site, regardless of age. If you believe a child under 13 has contacted us with personal information, please reach out and we'll delete it.

Your choices

• Opt out of Google Analytics using the add-on linked above.
• Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
• Block or clear cookies at any time through your browser — nothing on this site requires them to function, since there's no login system.
• Request deletion of any information you've sent us via the Contact form by reaching out to the same address.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — for example, when AdSense goes live — the "Last updated" date above will reflect it. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
